ROT-P Rotary Switch Product Description
When the DALI controller on the DALI bus supports the IEC 62386-103 protocol, the ROT-P can be configured directly.
If the DALI controller does not support the IEC 62386-103 protocol, or if no DALI controller is present, the DMUmini can be used to assign an address, locate the device, and configure it (e.g., control range, function definition).
When connected to mains power via L and N terminals, the ROT-P can supply 150mA of power to the DALI bus. When L and N are disconnected, it can operate by drawing power from the DALI bus, consuming only 2mA.
The DA interface of the ROT-P is designed to withstand voltages up to 300V.
Regardless of the operating mode, once the ROT-P has been assigned an address, it can be located using the DMUmini or switched between its two modes, simplifying installation.
